1.Factory Unlocked iPhone is an iPhone which has been officially unlocked by Apple or an authorized Apple representative. The iPhone is permanently free to use on any iPhone compatible network worldwide. Neither software hack nor turbo-sim  (Gevey) is needed after a restore or update of the iPhone firmware. You can use your iPhone anywhere there is a carrier that supports GSM or UMTS/HSDPA 3G format with any SIM-card and network provider you choose. A factory unlock occurs once and will never need to be repeated for any reason. After a iPhone is unlocked the IMEI number has been registered and permanently registered as Unlocked in Apple’s database. Therefore, you can updating firmware without any worry that  your iPhone can be re-locked again.

3. The unlock process takes anywhere from an instant to about 7 business days depending on the network your iPhone is locked to. Due to your specific iPhone's manufacture date, network operator, and model, times may vary. If you are planning on traveling in the near future it is wise to get the process started as soon as possible. The delivery time is an estimate, 95% of our unlocks process withing the first 7 business days but some take longer. French networks for instance tend to take anywhere from 10-20 business days. You cannot rush the French!! Telenor Sweden can take up to 30 days. If your iPhone has status flags unlocking your device may take up to 28 days. If we are not able to remove those flags and white-list your iPhone we will of course give you a full refund. We of course rush the completion of all orders. Until your order is delivered your order status may remain as "Awaiting fulfillment" or "Pending", this is normal and you can rest assured your order is in process. We ask that you please refrain from sending emails every few days to rush your order. These request cannot speed up delivery. We rush ALL orders. Lastly, if you order using a different email, billing address, and telephone number than what appears on your Paypal or Credit Card, your order may be delayed an additonal 15 days. Orders that are paid through Paypal MassPay, Bitcoin, or Liberty Reserve will be delievered express at no additional charge since these orders cannot be "frauded". 6. At the end of the process you will be notified via e-mail that the service has completed. In your notification email you will receive instructions on how to update via iTunes and receive your iPhone unlock. The process is very quick and easy! If you have ordered our Network Locator Service you will need to log into your account on iFactoryUnlock to view the relavent information on your device. You may disregard the unlock instructions you receive since they are not relavent to your order.

7. The International Mobile Equipment Identity or IMEI  is a number, usually unique, to identify GSM, WCDMA, and iDEN mobile phones, as well as some satellite phones. It is usually found printed inside the battery compartment of the phone. It can also be displayed on the screen of the phone by entering *#06# into the keypad on most phones. For our service ONLY use the number displayed on the device's screen! We cannot stress enough that you must check and double check the IMEI number from your device so that you submit it correctly. If you submit the incorrect IMEI# a refund will be impossible!

8. In the rare event that our service for a specific operator goes down or stops functioning, you will of course receive a FULL refund. Our service is an Apple authorized service and will work on every functioning iPhone on the networks that appear in our list.

9. A blacklisted or barred iPhone is an iPhone that has been reported lost or stolen somewhere in the world and therefore will not function on the network it was registered to originally. If the blacklisted phone is used in a different country sometimes the phone will be able to obtain local service. We gaurantee that our unlock service works but we cannot gaurantee that you can receive service if the phone is blacklisted. We ask that clients only submit iPhones that they know are not blacklisted. We can unlock phones listed as "unavailable" or "not found" in most networks that our competitors can not. 10. At this time our Sprint, and Softbank Japan iPhone unlocking facilities are down. You can sign up to our newsletter, send us an email with Subject "Notify (Network Name)" to be added to our network notification list, and or follow us on www.twitter.com/ifactoryunlock. These services tend to go up and back down after a few weeks so getting your order in quickly when you receive a notice is very important. AT&T service goes up and down quickly and typically is only available once or twice per year. Get your orders in quickly! Of course if the service goes down and we cannot process your AT&T order we will refund your money 100%. Note: AT&T process completes in 15-20 days. Due to massiva attempts at credit card fraud we must delay processing of AT&T iPhone unlock orders to give time for fraudulent orders to be caught. When the AT&T service or any other service will not let you "checkout" that means it is temporarily down and we have stopped taking orders for the time being. You may request to be notified for the resumption of services for any network using our contact form. Just write in the message: Notify "XXXX" network and you will receive a notification email when that service resumes.

11. We can help you find out which Network you iPhone was originally locked to if you do not know. In order to do so we need only the IMEI number of the iPhone you would like to investigate. You may request our iPhone Network Locator service here. This service also has the option to determin if your device is blacklisted/barred, lost, or stolen. If your device has not been activated it could take a few days for us to deliver the information to you.

12. Presently the iFactoryUnlock Global Blacklist is going through an international Beta test. After it completes the Beta the international blacklist will be released to commercial providers. Presently, iFactoryUnlock uses the blacklist to disable iPhones that have been associated with a fraudulent credit card purchase or a criminal "chargeback" attempt after unlock services have been provided. This renders the iPhone usesless in over 150 countries around the globe negating the impetus for theft or fraud in the first place.

13. Our system is setup to accept Paypal as the default for automatic processing. We will, however, accept payment from other processors if you have specific needs or we do not allow payments via Paypal from your country of origin: (North Africa, (some) India, Russian Federation, Indonesia, etc.)). We prefer Bitcoin as the safest and fastest option for making online purchases.
